STREET SENSE: VENDOR WEEK COVER
Vendor week is the time of year when the International Network of Street Papers (INSP) celebrate the work and people who produce, contribute to, and distribute street papers. I worked with the editor-in-chief of Street Sense Media to come up with a cover that illustrated the aim and reach of the INSP and how the issues of homelessness are worldwide and affect everyone.
It was one of the most rewarding covers I designed during my time with Street Sense. Hearing about how the cover was impacting our vendors was a pure joy. Learning about how good design and messaging can affect real people made the hours of work all the more worth it.
If I’m not figuring out how something works, I’m probably in the process of getting it to work.
